Meal Plans

Dining Plan Fall 2023

All students living on campus will be on a meal plan with unlimited meals per week.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be offered 7 days per week and late night dining will be offered 3 days per week.

Five College Dining Program

In support of Five College academic opportunities, a dining meal exchange is available for any student enrolled in a meal plan at one of the five colleges. A request for participating in the meal exchange will be granted for academic reasons only. Optional activities are not considered when evaluating a meal exchange request. Other meal exchange requests, for which there is a compelling reason, will be reviewed on an individual basis.

To request permission to participate in the meal exchange a student must follow the guidelines provided by the Dining Service office on the home campus where the student has enrolled in a meal plan. With the application the student must provide documentation of enrollment in a course at the other campus where the student is seeking permission to eat under the meal exchange program. Please email with your Amherst schedule, the schedule from the campus you're requesting the exchange with and which days/meals you're requesting. Please allow 48 hours for a response.

Grocery Deliveries on Campus

Grocery Delivery is available from Whole Foods Market. With a Prime Membership students can place an order of $35.00 or more and receive it within 2 hours.

When you place an order:

  • Packages must be delivered to the Amherst College Post Office.
  • Orders must arrive at the post office during business hours:

Monday – Friday
8:30 – 4:00

  • Please instruct drivers - They must leave packages with Post Office Staff.
    • Packages cannot be left outside the building.
  • Drivers need to call the post office to alert them of a delivery
