Keefe Campus Center

History

The Keefe Campus Center first began operations in September of 1987. It is named in honor of Harry V. Keefe, Jr. '43. Mr. Keefe had over fifty years experience in money management and investment banking, and was a founding member of the well-known firm Keefe, Bruyette and Woods. Mr. Keefe was an active and distinguished alumnus of Boston Latin School, having served as director of the Boston Latin School Foundation. Mr. Keefe demonstrated additional commitment to education by serving on the boards of Lafayette College and Wheaton College, as well as the Brunswick School and the Hudson School.

Mr. Keefe passed away on March 8, 2002 in Rochester, Minnesota. He was 79 years old.
