The Keefe Campus Center acts as the center of activities for the Amherst College community. The Campus Center is committed to offering services that meet the needs of the students of Amherst College and working to constantly improve upon those services in order to meet the changing needs of the students at Amherst College.
The Campus Center is committed to providing a high level of customer service. Employees will be aware that they may be the only staff that some individuals interact with and as such, will remember that their most important product is service to the customer. Everything from body language and voice tone to personal appearance affects how customers feel about their interactions with the Campus Center staff and Amherst College.
The Student Life Office is intended to facilitate interaction of students, faculty and administrators in developing social, cultural and educational programs. These are intended to enhance the social and cultural diversity of the campus and provide opportunities for personal growth and enhancement of personal and professional opportunities for students.
The Student Life Office is committed to creating an environment in which students can develop life skills and maximize their potential through participation in co-curricular activities. Students are encouraged to take leadership roles that will enable them to explore their interests. The Campus Center staff supports student leaders and activities that are generated and planned by students through advisement in a number of areas.
