Zack Simmons, Late Night Programming Graduate Assistant

I am currently a graduate student at UMass Amherst in the Higher Education Masters program. Prior to coming to New England, I was born and raised in Oregon and completed my undergraduate studies at Oregon State University. I have been in the realm of student activities for 5 years now and have loved every minute of it. Working with students to put on engaging campus programming is why I love what I do and I am eager to continue this work in a close knit community like Amherst College!

Late Night Events

Accepting FA 20 Co-Sponsorship Proposals

Amherst College After Dark (AC After Dark) is a program within the Student Activities Office that provides consistent, late-night social options to Amherst College students every weekend while school is in session. AC After Dark offers a variety of programs throughout the semester such as live entertainment, film screenings, arts and crafts, off-campus excursions and many other social events catering to the interests of students like you. Some of the programming is formally arranged by the department, while other programs are a collaborative effort with student organizations or other campus offices.

Have A Great Idea, But Need Funding? This program invites On-Campus Departments, Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), and any interested students to apply for co-sponsorship funding to put on an Amherst After Dark event. We look forward to collaborating with you to provide students with interactive programs on Friday or Saturday Nights between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Review the Criteria
