It's that time of year!

Registered Student Organization (RSO) re-registration is now open through September 9, 2023.

Your organization should now have the ability to re-register via your Hub page. All members of the group should see a re-register button from your Action Center. A breakdown of how to navigate this can be found here. A video tutorial can also be found here. Going through re-registration will give your group a spot at the Get Involved Fair in the Fall! Furthermore, it is essential to re-register your organization to remain in good standing with the Office of Student Activities.

Re-Registration Checklist (Steps are included in the online form)

All organizations are required to upload an updated constitution. A sample constitution is located here.

All members from an organization that interacts with minors must review the Youth Protection Policy and note this in their re-registration. Student Activities will be in contact with qualifying organizations with next steps.

All E-board members are required to complete an orientation and training.

If your organization was registered (started) in 2019 or after and you are required to have an advisor, please be sure to include information about your advisor in the supplemental form.

Good Standing

Groups that remain in good standing (see additional information) can continue to receive funding through club budgets and AAS discretionary funding and other co-sponsorships through Student Activities to Student Engagement and Leadership. Groups that have not properly re-registered by the deadline, are at risk of being designated as frozen or inactive and not being allowed funding.

Our office will be reaching out as we receive re-registrations if there are any questions; however, all confirmations of re-registration will be sent out via the Hub. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions! Simply email Student Engagement and Leadership (sel@amherst.edu).
