Good Standing

Groups that remain in good standing (active status) can continue to receive funding through club budgets and AAS discretionary funding and other co-sponsorships through the Office of Student Activities & Campus Activities Board. Groups that have not properly re-registered by the deadline, are at risk of being designated as frozen or inactive and not being allowed funding.

  • An active RSO is in good standing because they have completed the re-registration process for the previous and/or current academic year, have attended annual orientation & training, and have adhered to policies outlined in the Code of Conduct, Non-Discrimination Policy & Hazing Statute & RSO handbook.

  • A frozen RSO is not in good standing because they need to complete the re-registration process for the current academic year, have not attended annual orientation & training, or failed to adhere to policies outlined in the Code of Conduct, Non-Discrimination Policy & Hazing Statute & RSO handbook; OR have not been compliant in the previous semester/year.

  • An inactive RSO needs to complete the new organization registration process since they have not been active for an academic year or longer.

  • Please contact the Office of Student Activities before attempting to register/re-register if your RSO is in either of these categories.
