Manju L. Sharma

Manju Sharma is Hindu advisor. Manju was born in India and raised in a Hindu family. She also works as an advisor to the Hindu community SHRI (Sisters of Hinduism Reaching Inward) at Mount Holyoke College since fall 2008. SHRI holds a Thursday evening service (Pooja) followed by vegetarian dinner at Eliot house at Mount Holyoke College during the regular school year. This service is open to Five College students, faculty, staff and community members.

 Manju loves to work with undergraduate students. She has a Masters in chemistry from Banasthali University, Rajasthan, and has taught in S. D. College, Rajpur, H.P. India. Currently she works as a research scientist at the Department of Microbiology, University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Manju lives in Orchard Valley in Amherst with her husband Sudershan Kumar and son Keshov Sharma. She enjoys gardening, cooking, knitting, traveling, volunteer work and yoga.
