imageAmnesty International stands up for humanity and human rights all over the world.  Our purpose is to protect people wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied. We investigate and expose abuses, educate and mobilize the public, and help transform societies to create a safer, more just world.

The Amherst College chapter of Amnesty International was recognized in 2007.  We strive to raise awareness on campus about human rights by promoting campus-wide events and talks.

We meet every Wednesday at 6pm in Valentine Dining Hall's Conference Room. (After you get your food, go downstairs, turn right, and it's the last door on your left.)
