Native & Indigenous Students Organization

The goal of NASO is to provide a place for the exploration of the cultures, histories, and contemporary issues of American indigenous peoples, including, but not limited to, American Indians, Alaskan Natives, Native Hawaiians (or other Pacific Islanders), Indigenous Mexicans, Pueblos Originarios de Abya Yala, and First Nations peoples. We are also open to exploring the cultures and issues of other indigenous and aboriginal peoples from around the world. We strive to promote cultural awareness and sensitivity through education and discussion, and encourage all students to join regardless of Native ancestry or knowledge of Indigenous cultures.
