Splash! Spring 2015 - May 2nd

Welcome to our 2015 Spring Splash! event!

Splash this semester will include a student panel speaking about their college experience and special quest appearances from several of our very own Amherst College professors in addition to our regular student-led classes!

Course selection will occur at check-in! You still have to register first beforehand so we have an account of how many students will be attending.

We are so excited about our 2015 Spring Splash event, and we simply cannot wait to meet you all this Saturday on May 2nd. Here are few things you need to know as you get ready to come to Splash. Please read through this entire message, as it contains many important pieces of information concerning your participation in Splash.

  • Please preview the list of courses listed on the website here beforehand. You will be asked to rank them from your order of preference when you arrive for registration. While we cannot guarantee you will be enrolled in all your top picks in order to maintain balanced class sizes, we will be sure to give fair consideration to everyone.
  • There is NO registration fee for Splash this semester. Any donations are welcome however to help fund future Splashes and other events.
  • Before you come, please make sure you have filled out all necessary paperwork and forms needed and bring them with you to Splash.

  • Liability waiver: It is imperative that you bring your signed liability waiver with you on Saturday. Without this, we will not be able to allow you to participate in the program. You can find and download the liability waver from the webpage. We will have some extra copies printed out in case you are unable to print it. You can find a copy linked on the side of this page under forms.

  • All students should be dropped off at Converse Hall at Amherst College for check in. To find Converse Hall, please refer to the Amherst College map: https://www.amherst.edu/about/visiting/map

  • There will be volunteers standing in front of Converse to help receive and direct students. Guardians do NOT need to accompany their wards into Converse Hall for check in if they have already signed the liability form. It is preferable that they do not, in order to minimize traffic.

  • CHECK-IN will start at 8AM and will continue to 9AM at Converse Hall. There will be onsite registration, but we do urge you to register online first.
  • PICK-UP will begin at 3PM at Converse Hall, the same location as check-in. Please arrive promptly. We will not allow any student leave without consent beforehand.
