The WGC offers many programs and services to meet the needs of all Amherst College students. We are a drop-in center and affinity space for self-identified women, and people of all genders committed to gender equity. We consider our center to be the hub of feminist activity and organizing on campus, a driving force and home for education about and conversations around intersectional feminism, gender equity, sexism, and misogyny on campus and in the world. Lastly, we are a resource for topics/issues that are typically related to women and gender, identity, and social justice.

Our programs all relate back to one or more of our core values. The values serve as programmatic pillars and frame the work of the center. Our values are:

                         Empowerment             Intersectional Feminism                   Education                                Community
