Off-campus Opportunity: "The Pink Mass" at St. Michael's Cathedral, Springfield

Bishop Timothy A. McDonnell will be the celebrant of the Pink Mass, held annually for those battling cancer and all those who have passed away following their struggle with the illness. Catholics and people of all faiths from across the Diocese of Springfield and beyond are invited to attend. This third annual Pink Mass will be recorded and broadcast the following morning at 10 a.m. on WWLP-22NEWS as part of the weekly diocesan program “The Chalice of Salvation.” Following the Mass a “Celebration of Hope” gala dinner is to be held at 6 p.m. at the Springfield Lodge of Elks (#61) on Tiffany Street. The funds raised from the dinner will be disbursed to four local cancer support charities. Dinner tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
