Sat. May 23 Baccalaureate & Commencement MassEdit

BACCALAUREATE SERVICE: A MULTI-FAITH CELEBRATION -- 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Johnson Chapel. An hour-long celebration featuring musical selections; readings from various traditions, choral selections; dance;  "Go Out with Joy" by The Reverend Ian Oliver’81, Pastor of the University Church & Senior Associate Chaplain, Yale University; a call to action; and brief prayers. Special thanksto members of the Baccalaureate Committee for their help in planning the service. Members of the Committee were Aashish Karki’15, Constance Holden’15, Hope Wen’15, KC Fussell’15, Kyra Ellis-Moore’15, Marisa Dolmatch’15, Rama Hagos’15, Paul Sorrentino.

COMMENCEMENT MASS -- 6:30-7:15 pm. in Chapin Chapel. Join the Catholic community in the celebration of the Mass. Everyone is welcome. Missalettes are provided. Our celebrant is the well-known Mission, Retreat, and Revival preacher Rev. Warren J. Savage. A regular celebrant at Amherst College, Fr. Savage is a lecturer from the Religious Studies Department at Our Lady of the Elms College, Chicopee, MA, Diocesan Permanent Diaconate Formation Program Instructor, Westfield State University Catholic chaplain, and Member of Spiritual Directors International, Academy of Homiletics and The Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality.
