The 60th Reunion
Celebrate a Tradition of Giving
The Class of 1953 is celebrating its 60th Reunion this year. This reunion is an occasion for the class to celebrate Amherst's contributions to our lives through gifts helping Amherst continue to educate this and future generations of talented students.
60th Reunion Counting and Crediting Rules
- All gifts received after the 55th Reunion count in the 60th Reunion Gift.
- Pledges received by the 60th Reunion year count at face value in the 60th Reunion Gift.
- Planned gifts, such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, made after 6/30/08 and before 6/30/13, count in the 60th Reunion Gift.
- Those making bequest intentions will become Johnson Chapel Associates and will be celebrated at our Reunion (because of their revocable nature, they do not count toward the 60th Reunion Gift).
For more information about planned giving options, please visit the Gift Planning website.
The Class of 1953 will celebrate its 60th Reunion May 29 through June 2, 2013.
