Donor Recognition Societies
Amherst's recognition societies honor donors who have been especially generous to the College.
1821 Society and Noah Webster Circle
The 1821 Society recognizes leadership giving to the Annual Fund (gifts of $1,821 and more) and commemorates the College's founding year. The Noah Webster Circle (gifts of $10,000 and more) recognizes the most generous supporters of the Annual Fund and honors Noah Webster's founding vision.
Alumni, parents, and friends who have demonstrated their commitment to Amherst’s future by including the College in their estate plans.
