Virtual Classroom Activity
The virtual classroom activity, also known as Big Blue Button, lets your instructor conduct an online session with your students. Features include a file presentation tool with white board capability, a chat feature, and the ability for the instructor to send video and audio directly from his computer using its camera and microphone.
A video on using the virtual classroom is available.
Warning: We have seen problems with the cursor sometimes becoming invisible. Usually clicking the mouse will cause it to appear again. We're not sure if this is a real problem or just an artifact of our running multiple sessions on the same computer during testing.
Warning: If you attempt to join a session before the instructor has made it available, you will get a message to that effect. You will not, however, get any message when the session becomes available. You will have to keep trying to open the session until it's available.
Additional information about using the virtual classroom is available in some excellent, short videos.
This is not a standard part of Moodle. Don't expect to find it at other Moodle sites.
