How Do I Add an E-reserve Folder?

While it's possible to add individual e-reserves at any point in your course, there are times when you'll want a simple list of all e-reserves.  The e-reserves folder creates a simple link to a list of all the e-reserves for your course.

By default, an e-reserves folder will be added to the general section at the top of your course.  You can remove this or move it to another location.  You can create multiple e-reserve folders within your course if this is useful.

  1. From your course page, turn editing on and go to the Topic or Week in which you want to add a resource.
  2. Click on the Add a resource drop-down box and select E-Reserve Folder or select E-Reserve Folder from the activity chooser.
  3. The only values you can set are the common resource options. Usually you will not need to change the defaults.
  4. Click one of the two Save buttons at the bottom.
