LibraryCollection Management (Acquisitions, Cataloging, E-Resources)

Carley is responsible for purchasing materials requested for Reserves as well as out of print materials and standing order subscriptions. She also assists with the cataloging of new books. Request forms for purchases can be found here.

Mark assists with purchases of new materials, with cataloging and with metadata for digital content.

Part-time bibliographer for the general collection.

Kate Gerrity is the Metadata Management Librarian responsible for the production of metadata that provides access to digitized library and archival collections. She also works with candidates in the MLS Resident and Intern programs.  Along with other members of the Cataloging Section, she provides bibliographic access for media and books in the general collection.

Johanna provides leadership in electronic resources management and the discovery of library resources; she is responsible for overseeing the complex lifecycle of the library's electronic resources and management of the tools and systems that make discovery of and access to library resources possible.

Nancy is responsible for receiving print journals and newspapers, most of which are shelved in the Friendly Reading Room. She is also responsible for acquiring all student and college publications; send issues to her attention (AC box #2256). In addition, she processes books and journals that require binding.
