Donald B. Engley 1939

Donald Engley was interviewed by Willis E. Bridegam on August 14, 2002.  Excerpts from the interview are below.  Copies of the interview on DVD are in the open stack video collection of the Frost Library for borrowing, and are available for viewing in Archives and Special Collections or for purchase on request .

Donald B. Engley , Amherst Class of 1939, earned degrees from Columbia University and the University of Chicago in librarianship.  He served as the Librarian at Norwich University in Vermont and at Trinity College in Connecticut.  He was the Associate University Librarian at Yale University from 1972 until his retirement in 1982.

Willis E. Bridegam served as the Librarian of the College at Amherst from 1975 until his retirement on August 31, 2004.
