  Premiere biomedical index, includes MEDLINE and links to molecular biology databases.
• Academic Search Premier (date coverage varies)
  Full-text articles from over 3,600 journals in the social sciences, arts and humanities, and sciences.
• AGRICOLA (1970 to present)
  Index of journal articles and reports from the National Agriculture Library.
• Environmental Studies and Policy Collection (Gale)
  Covers environmental issues and policies, including diverse perspectives from the scientific community, governmental policy makers, as well as corporate interests.
• GreenFILE
  Draws on the connections between the environment and a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology.
• Historical Abstracts with Full Text (1955 to present)
  Scholarly literature about world history since 1450 (excluding the United States and Canada).
• Social Sciences Citation Index (1984 to present)
  Tracks cited references to locate more recent articles in social science.

  70 reference e-books, including multivolume works like the Encyclopedia of Religion, American Decades, and more.

  Scholarly surveys of all aspects of social sciences.
• International Encyclopedia of the Social Sciences
  Covers scholarship and fields in the social sciences.

Try these resources to find statistical data.

• Historical Statistics of the United States
  Standard source for quantitative information about the U.S., updated and includes 37,000 data series.
• Statistical Abstract of the United States (ProQuest)
  Provides statistical tables and charts covering various aspects of social, political and economic conditions of the United States.

Citing Sources

There will be several Zotero Workshops offered this Spring.  Zotero [zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free application that collects, manages, and formats citations and bibliographies. Zotero also helps organize your research by allowing you to attach PDFs, notes, and images to your references. You can arrange your sources into collections for different projects and tag them for easy searching.
