Rob Simpson '69
Dr. Rob Simpson '69 is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Brattleboro Retreat, a nationally recognized not-for-profit, mental health and addictions treatment center. He has over 35 years experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields. After graduating from Amherst with a degree in Russian, he earned advanced degrees from Simmons College (MSW), Harvard University (MPH) and the University of Utah where he earned a doctorate in Social Work. His career has been a demonstration of exceptional clinical care and advocacy for the needs of those who seek healthcare services.
