A Massachusetts man, native of Gloucester and resident of Danvers, Allen Sutherland died on January 29, 2008.
Allen had to work while going through college and thus was known to few of his classmates except his brothers in Phi Delta Theta. He was an economics major.
He established his own firm, Sutherland Associates, Management Consultants, which thrived from 1945 to 1999 with a countrywide clientele.
Childless, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen. Allen leaves two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
