Ombudsperson About the Ombudsperson

Prior to joining Amherst, I had many years of experience working in Human Resources and employee relations in higher education and other settings. I have assisted faculty and staff with a variety of workplace concerns and have provided services such as conflict resolution, coaching for a more positive work environment, facilitated conversations and formal and informal mediations. 

I am interested in finding ways for individuals and groups to feel that their work environments are fair and respectful and are places where differences or conflicts can be understood and dealt with constructively.

Although I report directly to the President, I work independently of all administrative and academic offices.
