No Advance Tickets Sold or Required; Purchase at Door Only.

The Amherst College Department of Music Concert Office does not accept advance reservations for tickets for the ASO, nor is there assigned seating.  Tickets go on sale one hour prior to performance time; doors to the hall typically open one half hour prior to downbeat, and seating is first come first served.

(Although our concerts are popular and have high attendance, only when the orchestra performs with the Amherst College Choral Society, or performs in the "pit" for fully staged musicals or operas do concerts sell out.  For those events, we do accept advance reservations.)

Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 for senior citizens, students, and children, and free to Amherst College students and students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College and Smith College (with ID).

How to Get to the Arms Music Center

All ASO concerts this season will be presented in beautiful Buckley Recital Hall, at Arms Music Center, Amherst College, Massachusetts.

Buckley's street address, if you intend to use GPS, is 53 College Street, Amherst, MA.  It is located on Route 9 one block east of its intersection with Route 116 (the portion of Route 9 which cuts through Amherst College is called College Street).  There is ample parking directly behind Arms Music Center in the College parking lot; although it is a private lot, you will not be ticketed at night if you park there just for purposes of attending a concert. There is also street parking on adjacent Boltwood Avenue, and in public lots adjoining Boltwood Avenue a bit further north.
