On Feb. 23 Bill McQuillan passed away in Pittsburgh with his family by his side.
He graduated from Shady Side Academy before attending Amherst. Bill did his military obligation in the Army and then earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School. He spent his whole financial career as a portfolio manager for Manufacturers Hanover Trust.
Bill adored Central Park and would typically spend two hours a day walking through different parts of it. He was deeply touched by 9/11, making generous donations to local fire stations. He was an avid sports fan, particularly NBA basketball and NFL football, and was a military and history buff.
