Thomas R. Taylor was killed in an automobile accident in Ashfield on Nov. 18, 1967. Though Tom was only a member of our class for one year, he will be deeply missed.
Born March 21, 1944, in Portland, Ore., he was educated in New York City schools and the Lycée Français de New York. In June 1964, he was awarded a baccalauréat ès-lettres from Académie de Paris. Upon completing his junior year at Amherst with our class, Tom taught French in the Northampton public schools for two years. He returned to Amherst to complete his senior year in September 1967.
The class extends its deepest sympathy to his family.
