At age 70, I am semi-retired. I now work part-time at the county health department. My colon and rectal surgical practice is now limited, although I am still proud that I was the first certified Board member in my specialty in the state of Illinois outside the Chicago area in 1958.
I remarried in 1990.
I have 3 children and one grandchild.
Last year in December I had a total prostatectomy at The Mayo Clinic for cancer. There was no spread, so I now feel fine.
