February 22, 2010:  Harry Greene, Ph.D., Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Cornell University.  "Natural History, Aesthetics and Conservation."  Professor Greene is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, President of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists and author of Snakes: The Evolution of Mystery in Nature, winner of a PEN Literary award and recipient of the American Society of Naturalists’ E.O. Wilson Award.  4:00 P.M. Pruyne Lecture Hall (Fayerweather 115).

March 8, 2010:  Gary Meffe, Ph.D., Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, University of Florida.  "Integrating Science, Policy, and Management for More Effective Conservation".  Dr. Meffe is author of several books and numerous articles on ecological conservation, and has been the Editor in Chief of Conservation Biology for over a decade.  (Hosts:  Professor Ethan D.
