Retirement: Retired in 1989 after 33 years with IBM which included a three year gap firing missles with the US Army at White Sands proving ground area. Successful impacts included Juarez cemetary and an Oklahoma cornfield. Don't miss working one bit and find more things to do than time to do them in. Work was a necessary evil, dispatched as early as possible.
Summary: Life is tough but the alternative is unacceptable. As a kid I heard the "old folks" saying that the world was "going to hell." Now that I am "old folk" I say the same, so nothing has changed except 50 very enjoyable post-'56 years.
The world is in the hands of my kids. If I taught them well, then they can solve the problems which are out of my control. Absolute WORST activity is preparing a document on a PC. Hope this thing works.
