A Poet's Life, on the Big Screen: Museum Serves as Set for Scenes in Movie — From June 15 to 17, the grounds of the Emily Dickinson Museum were taken over by a crew from A Quiet Passion, an upcoming biopic about the introverted poet.


Political Yet Personal: Student Documentaries Explore Torture and Immigration — This year's two film and media studies senior theses were about 30 minutes long and tackled some thought-provoking issues.


Have (Beat-Up) Car, Will Travel—Across Europe and Asia — Starting July 19, David Lander '17 is driving from London to Mongolia to raise money for an environmental charity. He spoke about it with WNYC, the New York NPR affiliate.


Professors Pen Reviews for the Wall Street Journal, Irish Times — Ronald Rosbottom, Winifred L. Arms Professor in the Arts and Humanities, gave his thoughts on a book exploring one family's participation in the French Resistance, while Lawrence Douglas, James J. Grosfeld Professor of Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought, discussed Great Catastrophe: Armenians and Turks in the Shadow of Genocide.
