Join the Mascot Conversation — A New York Times article on Lord Jeff brought to a wider audience a conversation that has been underway for a number of years. The Alumni Executive Committee has been asked to foster a discussion among alumni, and students have been hosting related conversations on campus. Both groups will report to the president what has been shared with them. The issue will then go to the Board of Trustees for a January discussion. See recent survey results on the topic and join the mascot conversation.

'91 Conductor Leads Special Benefit for UN Campaign to End Gender Violence — At Carnegie Hall on Oct. 19, George Mathew '91 conducted a group of 90 principal musicians from 40 of the world's greatest orchestras, ensembles and academies in a performance to raise funds for the "Scheherazade Initiative." "We who are in the business of making sound and giving voice want to give voice to the most vulnerable among us," he said at the performance.
