various composers and lyricists appear with text and
melody only. The final piece "Pesnya o Druge" includes
piano accompaniment and a version translated into English
("My Friend").

15 "Russkie Khory dlya Smeshanykh Golosov," Izdanie I.A.
Mel'nikova, (stamped as the property of Jurgenson
Publishing in St. Petersburg), printed by Yu. P.
Semechkinoi, St. Petersburg, approved by censors in 1895
(43 pp. each). This folder contains four part-books:
soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Contains songs by Veimarn,
Napravnik, Kyun, Kazachenko, Chaikovskii, and Shenk.
Note: The name of the original owner "Aga Hiron"
(?) appears on the dust cover of each part-book.
The tenor part is stamped "made in Galicia."

16 "Russkie Khory dlya Smeshanykh Golosov," second edition,

to "Serezhen'ka" (Sergei Boldyrev) from Natasha
Kosoleva(?), 30.11.91, Toronto.

piano accompaniment. Contains popular waltzes of the 19th
and 20th centuries as well as romances written in the
form of a waltz. Compositions and arrangements by
various composers.
Note: There are two copies of this item. One copy
contains the original owner's name, ‘Galina
Dobrich,' on the dust cover.
