Book & Plow 2024

We are now in our 11th growing season. We work with a fantastic group of students on campus to grow vegetables for the Dining Hall, our CSA, and for donation to local food pantries.

Staff, faculty, students and neighbors are welcome to become CSA members. Learn more about our CSA program at Book & Plow.

We will offer a few on-campus and virtual events this year and are happy to collaborate with campus groups and Professors. Follow our instagram @bookandplow and sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date.

We will begin hiring for our Fall Work Study Crew in mid-August. Learn more about student employment at Book & Plow.

Folks are welcome to come visit the farm. Please follow all public health guidelines (masks when necessary and physical distance).

Professors who want to visit the farm with your class (either in-person or over zoom), email mives@amherst.edu. Learn more about how the farm can be an academic resource for you and your class.
