Annie Leibovitz to be honored at commencement

Photographer Annie Leibovitz  is among seven to be honored at Commencement on May 26. Leaders in neuroscience, photography, religion, writing, astrophysics and social justice philanthropy will receive honorary doctorates from during the College’s 198th Commencement. Three of the honorees are Amherst alumni.


A Great Day #ForAmherst

On Thursday, April 18, a record-breaking 2,208 people made gifts, including more than 200 students, close to 100 faculty and staff members, and many alumni and families. We are grateful for the generosity and support of the Amherst community, which allowed us to unlock $150,000 in challenge money for the College. Plus, more than 800 people on campus received a donut when a gift was made in their honor. Thank you!
