45 minute virtual Skill Building Sessions for supervisors - Scheduled weekly
The On-the-Spot Leadership series is based on the belief that small things can make a big difference. To that end, each weekly session will feature one specific, tangible tool that can be used to increase effectiveness, with specific connections made to supervising remotely. Each session will include a takeaway resource that supports learning transfer and application of the tool in their work environment.
The first cycle of On-the-Spot Leadership sessions emphasizes four science-based strategies for lowering stress and lessening its impact on performance:
- Show Appreciation
- Build Connections
- Identify Things That Can Be Controlled
- Provide Certainty Where Possible
