A Geology professor describes how he modified his approach to developing virtual field trips following the shift to remote teaching. Additionally, he describes how he structured a final reflective assignment for students to describe a natural space that feels important and meaningful to them and how course concepts help them think more intentionally about their perceived responsiblity towards that space.
