There is no one path through the major.  Although we prefer students to start exploring the major by enrolling in any of our 100-level courses, it is possible to start the major with a 200-level course, if allowed by the faculty. 

Students are free to combine any collection of courses, as long as you meet the distribution requirement (see Major Requirements).
