Central Campus is just that, central to social, academic, and administrative buildings on campus. Many of the residential halls in this part of campus were built as academic buildings and later rennovated for residential use.

Morrow, Morris Pratt & Moore Residence Halls

Morrow, built 1926 and rennovated in 2006, was originally a chemistry laboratory.

Morris Pratt, built 1912 and rennovated in 2006. 

Moore, built 1929 and rennovated in 1985. 

Jenkins & ResHall A Residence Halls

Jenkins and ResHall A were built in 1978 and both currently offers suite style living.

Valentine Residence Hall

Valentine, built in 1941, houses residential housing on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The first floor is home to the campus dinning hall.

Alyssa is a Connecticut native, Bay Path University and UMass Amherst alum, and a Cancer sun. Their academic background is in Neuroscience & Behavior and Education and worked at EqualityMaine for two year’s with AmeriCorps VISTA supporting queer folx of all ages before coming to Amherst College. In addition to their buildings, Alyssa supervises the Asian Culture House and Sylvia Rivera Theme Communities.
