Recitals that fall outside the honors thesis program are called Senior Recitals. The Senior Recital is an opportunity for a student who does not major in music, or who does not wish to do an honors thesis, to offer a full-length recital program.

Senior Recitals may only be scheduled during the Fall or Spring semesters (not during exam or reading periods, not during interterm, and not in the summer); and only in rooms 3 or 7 in Arms Music Center. Progams should be 30 to 45 minutes in length. Students may schedule a maximum of four hours of rehearsal time in the appropriate hall. Recitals are scheduled by Academic Department Coordinator Cindy Dumais-Holubowich.

Once a date is confirmed, the recital will appear on the Music Department website calendar. Students are responsible for other means of promotion (social media, posters, etc.). Students are also responsible for printed programs, recording and other production elements if desired.

To request a Senior Recital, please complete the following form.

Indicate your current major(s).
Name of the instructor for the MUSL course associated with this recital.
Provide a short description of how the recital fits with your goals and your educational trajectory at the college. Indicate any preferences for dates, times, location (Arms 3 or 7), etc.
