On-Campus Housing

Registration for Commencement 2024 housing is open to eligible families.

Amherst College offers housing in residence halls on May 24 and May 25 to eligible families of graduating students. Due to limited availability, housing will only be offered to families identified by the Financial Aid Office; you will be notified if you qualify for this free housing during the month of December. Online registration for on-campus housing will open in February 2024, closing in mid-April; however, housing is on a first-come, first-served basis and could close sooner.

*If you received notification that you are eligible for on-campus housing, please note that you can not use an Amherst College email address to register and create an account.

It is important to note that the residence halls feature shared restrooms and common spaces, are not air-conditioned and do not have a hotel’s traditional amenities and services, including front desk staff.
