Designed to engage non-supervising staff and faculty in critical thought and dialogue regarding disability inclusion in the workplace, this workshop aims to allow participants to consider nuanced yet common situations as they work to understand the roles and responsibilities of the employee, the supervisor, and HR in the accommodation process. Participants will first be invited to complete an hour-long LinkedIn Learning module if they would like an introductory understanding of disability inclusion. In the workshop, we will read and discuss a set of case studies on situations involving both visible and invisible disabilities with the goal of being able to better understand accomodations as well as finding proactive approaches to creating an inclusive culture.

Presenters:

Jodi Foley, Director of Accessibility Strategy and Resources
