April 27 – August 15, 2001

Local Sponsors:
We would like to thank Atkins Farm of Amherst and Bread & Circus of Hadley for their generous support of the Opening Reception related to this exhibition.

Community Support:
During the length of the exhibition, the Mead Art Museum will donate 10% of the poster sales from Jerome Liebling's exhibition to Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA). The exhibition poster features the limited edition color photograph "Atkins Orchard." "Because the photography exhibition features a rich array of local landscape and Pioneer Valley rural subjects, we thought it was a wonderful opportunity to share that sense of what locally grown in western Massachusetts looks like through a creative lens with our community, and at the same time benefit CISA," says Mead Business Manager Donna Abelli. "We are honored by the Mead Art Museum's generosity," says Linda Enerson, CISA Executive Director. "Their creative support of our Local Hero program is a wonderful example of how we can all come together to keep agriculture a vital part of life in the Valley."
