Libraries

The Amherst College library provides a full range of resources and services to support teaching and learning at Amherst. The library’s staff  partners with faculty members on integrating research into classes and teaching students how to navigate and engage with the world of information. Through cooperation with the other Five College libraries, the Amherst College community has access to approximately 10 million items and thousands of journals, with the ability to quickly request items from  the college's partners. The Robert Frost Library is the main facility, with branch libraries serving the science center and the Arms Music Center. For the latest information about library resources and services for faculty, visit the Services for Faculty and Staff page of the library's website.
