Photographer Barbara Bosworth spent the summer and fall of 2012 hiking sections of the New England National Scenic Trail (NET) as the National Park Service’s first artist-in-residence for the NET. Traveling with her large-format view camera, she created a visual response to the vistas and paths she encountered. This special exhibition features twenty of the artist's photographs displayed at nine different sites – each with its own relationship to the trail – to form a unique exhibition that viewers can experience at their own pace and following their own path. Three of the photographs will be on view at the Mead.
