August 20, 2008—Mead staffers Tim Gilfillan, Teddy O'Connor, Inga Stevens, and Stephen Fisher and professional photographers Jim Gipe and Stephen Petegorsky '75 take a break while photographing portraits in Johnson Chapel as part of a major digitization project. During the spring and summer of 2008, our tireless team shot all 847 paintings in the permanent collection—images now accessible through the museum's searchable on-line database, and available to scholars for presentations and publications. We hope the images will help you plan your next visit to the museum's Study Room! (To learn more, please visit the Collection page of this website.)
