December 4, 2009—This fossil fish from the collection of the Museum of Natural History comes from the same rock formations featured in Thomas Moran's painting Green River of Wyoming currently on display at the Mead. This special installation is one of several collaborative displays between the Mead, the Museum of Natural History, and the Frost Library; and commemorates the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species. The display will stay up through February 15th.
