Khen Rinpoche, Geshe Lobzang Tsetan (Abbot of the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in South India), and Professor David L. Gardiner of the Department of Religion at Colorado College will explore the second principle, "Altruistic Mind.” They will examine the many benefits of cultivating strongly the aspiring attitude of wishing to free oneself and all beings from cycles of suffering caused by unskillful habits of mind.
This event is part of a weekend-long workshop. It is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $20/session from members of the general public and $10/session from senior citizens. Five College students may attend for free. All donations will be given to Tashi Lhumpo Monastery and Siddhartha School.
