This final session will focus on the third principle, “Wisdom.” Khen Rinpoche, Geshe Lobzang Tsetan (Abbot of the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in South India), and Professor David L. Gardiner of the Department of Religion at Colorado College will explain how deepening our critical skills in reasoning and contemplation can open profound and liberating insight into the disconnect between our usual understandings of self and world, on the one hand, and the actual nature of reality, on the other. Khen Rinpoche will conclude with a guided “refuge tree” visualization-blessing, expressing appreciation for the clarity and kindness embodied in the teachings passed down over the centuries from Shakyamuni Buddha.
