Events & Calendars Hermenia T. Gardner Bi-Semster Worship Series

The first service of the Hermenia T. Gardner Bi-Semester Worship Series, a
service is held the African American tradition, will take place on Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. in Chapin Chapel. The speaker will be Pastor Virginia Ward, director of Black Campus Ministries New England for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She also serves as the Youth Pastor at the Abundant Life Church in Cambridge, Mass., where her husband, the Rev. Lawrence Ward, serves as senior pastor. The service features the Amherst College Gospel Choir and is followed by a soul food luncheon. All are welcome!
