Events & Calendars Mead Art Museum "Reinventing Tokyo" Exhibition Tour

Exhibition guest curator and lead catalogue author Samuel Morse, the Howard M. and Martha P. Mitchell Professor of Art History and Asian Languages and Civilizations at Amherst College, and exhibition catalogue co-author Timothy Van Compernolle, associate professor of Asian languages and civilizations at Amherst, will lead this free public tour of "Reinventing Tokyo: Japan’s Largest City in the Artistic Imagination," which explores Tokyo’s fascinating 400-year history and artistic culture.
